Semester Final Exam - Per 3

1. My favorite post

2. My Website

3. My favorite photo from the semester:

This is my favorite photo from the semester because of the filter and also the emotion it gives. It feels as though they are all posed for album cover and I personally love album artwork. One member in my group is smiling and I think that is what makes the picture come out good. He's just being himself.

4. My best photo from this semester would have to be this one:

  • I chose this as my best photo from the semester because my group is simply just being themselves. A true and honest picture of them I believe.
  • Each of them are doing something different, they are all diverse and different in their own way.
  • Although some of the members in my group aren't looking, this still turned out to be a great photo.

5. Three advantages of working in groups:
  • Making new friends
  • Gathering a bunch of different ideas
  • Seeing things from other people's perspectives
     Three disadvantages:
  • Disagreements on things
  • When someone misses a day of school
  • Not being able to help one another
6. Picture of Life

7. Henri Cartier-Bresson knew when his photos were good because the head, the eye, and the heart were aligned

8. The correct white balance:

9. Next semester I would be interested in exploring more language and types of photography, also more ways to edit a photo.

10. I think Mr. Farley has a "Hecka Free Zone" because he doesn't like the saying, or maybe he did but its a very common word that is used a lot everyday. Or he just never did like the word.

Advanced Photo Per 3: Final Project

My group and I chose the classic filter black and white because you can still feel the connection in the picture even though there is no color. My group was having a good time and you can see that from their poses and smiles. Color isn't always needed

Here a member from my group was caught off guard, I was just playing around taking accidental pictures. I do like how this turned out, she still makes the photo look good.

The girls both are smiling and laughing looking to be having a good time, you can somewhat feel the emotion despite there being no color.

Again you can see that they look to be having a good time smiling and laughing, the emotion is there. I also tried to add in the Rule of Thirds

This is my group posing giving me their best shot. The fade in from light to dark or right to left captures something I don't think any other colors other than black and white could.

Here they are again, what's special is that each of them look to be doing something different, their own style and piece. Some are focused on the picture, others aren't. This photo could be considered an accidental picture that turned out great

And lastly, probably my favorite picture. It's self explanatory here. In other pictures you can see them goofing off and in others you can see them when they are actually working. Although one is smiling it still gives off a very serious and album artwork type of tone.
